Marvel’s new movie Endgame which came out on April 22nd is now breaking worldwide records. The current top holder for the box office records is Avatar from 2009 with 2.789 billion dollars. The new movie already beat Titanic, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Jurassic World, and Marvel’s past movie Avengers: Infinity War.

The whole point of a movie is to entertain, make at least one person laugh, but the biggest thing for companies like Marvel is to make a profit. So much money goes into making a movie, first of all, hiring. Robert Downey Jr, Ironman,  alone made about 75 million dollars.

Currently, Endgame has earned $2.189 billion dollars and it has only been 17 days since it has been released. It is Marvel’s second longest movie just one minute under Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie is an astonishing three hours and two minutes, however not the longest movie ever, as though it may seem like it.

Fun fact- actually the longest movie to ever be run is Modern Times Forever, which was released in 2011, this movie is an astonishing 240 hours long. Now, you thought Endgame was long. Have you seen Endgame yet?
