Stacey Testing Week: Information 1

Jolie Phan

Stacey testing started this week. Testing will continue from April 30 to May 24.

Because testing is rigorous and stressful for many students, it is recommended that students get a good night sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, bring snacks for the test. They can also and bring something that will reduce their stress and nervousness like a note or a good luck charm or mascot.

One the first week of testing, eighth graders will take the CST Science test during their regular science block. This will last from April 30 – May 3.

The following week (May 6 – May 10) students will be taking the SBAC Math test during their homeroom. Homeroom will be extended until 10:00. There won’t be testing on Wednesday.

Monday and Thursday will be odd block and Tuesday and Friday will be even block in order to give enough time for students to complete the test.

On week three (May 13 – May 17), students will be facing the SBAC ELA Performance Task in their regular ELA classes. Students will be given Monday through Wednesday to finish but if they don’t, there will have Thursday and Friday to continue, if needed, or for make-up.

The last week for testing will be held on May 20-May 24. In students’ regular math classes, they will be taking their SBAC Math Performance Task. This test will only last on Monday and Tuesday and be extended for Wednesday-Friday if students don’t finish or missed a day.

Students will be having May 27 off from school to take a break from all of the tests. Just kidding. It is Memorial Day.

  1. Oof to y’all We here to MHS only have to worry about the AP testing, which is only for 11th, 12th, + some 10th graders. The 11th + 12th graders already took their state science tests, + the 11th graders already took their ELA + math state tests in March. The 9th graders in sports already took the PE test in late March or early April.
