Five Reasons Why Going To Star Wars: Galaxy´s Edge Is Going To Be A Nightmare And A Half 5

Gavin Mercado

A few years ago, Disneyland announced something fascinating for their park. A Star Wars themed land. It wasn´t announced until recently, however, that the official name for this land is going to be Star Wars: Galaxy´s Edge, and it will open in June.

Now, this article isn’t telling you that you shouldn’t visit Disneyland when it opens, but I am saying it will for sure be a nightmare. Now, here are five reasons why:

  1. The Wait Times:

If you´ve even touched Disney property before, you very well know that Disneyland isn´t one of your usual theme parks where you can basically ride any ride you want. There are lines. These lines, well, they get long.

Active Disney goers know that whenever Disney opens up a new attraction or land, the wait times will skyrocket up. It was reported that when radiator springs racers opened up in Disney’s California Adventure, the wait time hiked up to eight hours long. Media is expecting rides at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to pass that outstanding record. More…

Gavin Mercado

This editorial reflects the opinions of the author and not necessarily the opinion of The Cougar Chronicle or its staff.

¨Would you like to buy a box of cookies?¨ asks millions of American Girl Scouts every day during cookie season. However, although seemingly innocent, Girl Scouts seem to have a hypocritical side.

Don´t get me wrong, I´m not saying that Girl Scouts are negative or anything. However, there are a few very exclusive things about Girl Scouts that makes it hard to wrap my head around.

That’s right. I´m talking about gender; the word that has quite possibly cut America in half. Girl Scouts, as said in the name, is a program for girls in which they participate in activities like camping, fundraising, and of course, cookie selling. More…

Why ‘C’ Students can be More Successful Than ‘A’ Students 18

Annabelle Lona

Let’s talk about ‘C’ students. They aren’t totally sold on the academic system. They don’t worship it, but they see a great deal of good that can come from it. They know that learning occurs in different ways than the system presents.

Our world has dramatically changed since the late 1800s. During that time, schools were designed to teach obedience. According to Lifehack.com, it states that by 2020, more than one billion people will be working from their homes.

This works for ‘C’ students. ‘C’ students usually think for themselves and make up their own agenda without having someone else tell them how to live their lives. ‘C’ students don’t spend enormous amounts of energy trying to impress their superiors. Instead, they are more strategic about how they spend their time. More…

Madison Evans

On January 4th, 2019, an unknown Instagram user decided to post a picture of a brown egg. Everyone was talking about it, wondering why someone would do this in the first place. But when they read the caption, all was explained. Of course, eggs are just an everyday breakfast food- but breakfast had nothing to do with this.

It all started when Kylie Jenner posted a picture of her five-day-old baby, Stormi Webster, on February 6th, 2018. The post was created to announce the baby’s name to her 123 million followers and fans. With everyone adoring the picture of the baby holding her mother’s thumb while asleep, it had the most likes on Instagram- over 18 million.

Almost a year later, the unknown Instagram user posted the picture of the egg; and all to prove a point. The caption read, “Let’s set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this.” More…
