Here it comes again, Cougars! That’s right the Huntington Beach Airshow is back.
This year the airshow will take place on October 19-21st. The time frame of the actual show is 11:30-4:00. At the latest, it will start at around 12, but be sure to get their early for the best seats in the house.
If staying at the beach for such a long time period isn’t your thing, you could always pay the extra for a special rooftop viewing at the hotel across the street or the reserved seating that’s known to be the best.
Here is this year’s lineup of what will be flying this year.
- USAF Thunderbirds
- Jeff Bourbon & Yak-110
- Paul “Sticky” Strickland
- Bill Stein
- Michael Wiskus
- Matt Chapman
- Sammy Mason
- Lyon Air Museum C-47 Dakota
- Greg Colyer
- SOCOM Para Commandos
- U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III and KC 135 Stratotanker
- US Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstration
One of the crowd favorites for sure are the Thunderbirds, but the rest is pretty great too. Make sure to check out the Cougar Chronicle in a couple of weeks for the follow-up article and video, for those readers who weren’t able to make it to the actual show.
