Attention all eighth graders! It’s time to help out the community! Every eighth grader will have one service hour due each trimester.
Eighth graders who plan on attending the Knott’s Berry Farm trip in the spring, must complete the one service.
Sixth and seventh graders don’t have to worry about their service hours until they get into eighth grade unless they are in AVID or NJHS, and then they are required to do additional service hours.
If you don’t know what to do for service hours, here are some ideas:
- help a teacher after school
- participate in a beach clean up
- join Builders Club
- volunteer at an animal shelter or church
- volunteer at a Stacey event
Make sure you get that service hour completed, eighth graders. It is crucial to your year overall. If you have any questions, please ask your teacher about service hours.
