Hey, Stacey parents and students. We hope you had a fantastic Open House experience!
Many new Stacey Middle school parents probably didn’t realize that this is Stacey’s first time trying this new format for Open House. Last year, Open House was formatted just like the student’s schedules from their first period to last. This year it was scheduled by subjects. That means a teacher may have had up to seven periods in the same room at the same time. That could be interesting.
The real question is, did you like the new Open House format? Please respond to the poll and leave comments about any specific ideas you might have.
kind of confusing and too long in between each one

I really enjoyed this format for open house. In Miss. Faulkner’s room the students did an awesome job presenting their work and telling us about various projects.
In Ms. Thach’s room she engaged parents and students using Quizlet live. It was a great interactive experience and showed us how well she keeps students engaged and learning.
Ms. Sale’s Theater Arts students demonstrated great courage and put on a wonderful show for us. I loved how the science classrooms had their showcases outside which meant we got to see work from all grade levels and teachers. I hope this format sticks around.

Last year, it wasn’t organized by the shedule. You could go to whatever class you wanted in any order. I didn’t go to ELA/Reading or PE last year.
