As many of you know, administrators announced last year that they would be constructing a gymnasium. Originally estimated to be done by December, the construction was extended to April due to the rain throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
Current end dates are now set for early May. The construction team has worked double time to finish before the end of the school year. Students and staff have their fingers crossed for eighth-grade graduation in June.
Due to construction, student pick-up and drop-off have been challenging. Over spring break the construction workers made a path leading to the park which makes it easier and safer for parents and students.
In addition, the back parking lot was expanded to make a new bus drop off/pick up. This will alleviate congestion on the street.
All in all, the construction at Stacey has been pretty crazy and will thankfully be coming to an end very soon.
