Everyone knows Thanksgiving, the Fourth of July, Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, and Valentine’s Day. Those are all very well known and recognized holidays, but did you know this is a holiday for celebrating pizza, pets, chili, pigs, left-handed people, and so much more.
January 6th is National Bean Day, so go get some beans to cook. January 21st is National Hugging day, so grab a friend and give them a big hug.
February 4th is Thank a Mailman Day, February 10th is National Umbrella day, and February 27th is National Polar Bear Day.
National Earmuff Day falls on March 13th and on March 23rd, it’s puppy day. March 23rd is also Chip and Dip Day.
April 4th is School Librarian Day, so say thanks to Mrs. Bell, Stacey’s librarian. April 16th is Mushroom Day, and April 17th is Bat Appreciation Day.
Some bizarre holidays in May are Star Wars Day on the 4th, Love a Tree Day on the 16th, and Sun Screen Day on the 27th.
Want to celebrate your best friend? Well, you can celebrate your bestie on June 8th, which is Best Friends Day. There is another hugging holiday on June 29th called Hug Holiday.
If you like chocolate, you’re in luck because July 7th is Chocolate Day. If you’re more into junk food, then you will definitely like National Junk Food Day on July 21st.
August 16th is a very silly holiday: Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day. That holiday is so strange most will not even believe it exists.
A lot of people like golf, and it is appreciated very much, but what about miniature golf? Mini golf can be praised on September 21st.
Show some kindness on October 5th, Do Something Nice Day or eat some pasta on October 25th, World Pasta Day.
On November 3rd, eat a sandwich for Sandwich Day or you could eat a cranberry on November 23rd for Eat a Cranberry Day.
