There are so many different songs about so many different things, like heartbreak, hard times, and so much more.
Have you ever heard the song “Praying?” The song “Praying,” is by Kesha and is about her experience with abusive producer and how she has overcome that point in her life.
She performed this song at the 2018 Grammys with many other singers. “Kesha tweeted on Saturday, January 27, that she is ‘nervous’ to perform her hit single, ‘Praying’ at the 2018 Grammys,” stated Us Magazine. This situation was a very traumatic thing for Kesha and after her performance at the Grammys, she starting breaking down into tears on stage. All the other performers swarmed her in a big hug to comfort her.
Lukasz Gottwald, her abusive producer, sued Kesha the first time she tried to break the contract. Kesha still had to work from 2005-2013 with Lukasz Gottwald, but at least now she has a new producer.
In February Gottwald said on Twitter “Kesha and I were friends for many years and she was like my little sister.” To this day Gottwald still denies he ever abused Kesha and never got charged for any abuse.
Maybe Kesha’s abuse claims were never solved completely, but she is still pushing on as a successful artist with many chart-topping songs.“This lawsuit [has been] so heavy on my once free spirit, and I can only pray to one day feel that happiness again,” Kesha explained. Kesha never let people stop her from doing her best and she definitely will not let Gottwald stop her either.
