Returning to Netflix 2018 Reply

If you don’t know what Netflix is, it is a sort of company that has an app and website where you pay for a membership, and they let you watch many different shows and Movies, some of which that they made. Netflix is known by people almost all over the world. The only downside is that sometimes they don’t tell you what shows and movies are going to be coming soon, you actually have to google it, so while you’re scrolling around on the Cougar Chronicle, if you want to know, you should read the rest of this article.

One New season of a show that is coming in 2018 is A Series of Unfortunate Events Although it’s not new to Netflix there is a second season that will be coming out, supposedly on March Thirtieth. This show is based on a book series written by Lemony Snicket. For the second season, it is supposed to start off with the storyline of the fifth book which is all about the three Main characters going to a sort of boarding school. Here is the cast:

  • Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf
  • Malina Weissman as Violet Baudelaire
  • Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket
  • Louis Hynes Klaus Baudelaire

Another Season two coming is for 13 Reasons Why which is again based on a book that many people have read and really enjoyed. This show is all about how a girl sadly commits suicide for 13 reasons. In the show, each of two episodes was about one of the tapes that she made explaining who and why someone made her commit suicide. Here are the new cast members:

-Anne Winters as Chloe the beautiful Head Cheerleader

-Bryce Cass as Cyrus and edgy mischief Maker

-Chelsea Alden as Mackenzie who is an artsy girl whos not afraid to speak her mind

-Allison Miller as Sonya a young, ambitious litigator

-Samantha Logan as Nina who is respected track star that has a secret

-Kelli O’Hara as Jackie who helps warm and is kind to bully victims

-Ben Lawson as Rick, the basketball coach

Along with the Original cast from Season one.

Jessica Jones is a beloved Marvel show that is returning to Netflix for Season two. Jessica Jones is all about a girl named Jessica who was a superhero until she lost her powers and became a detective at her own place. Jessica Jones is based on an old comic that tells all about her new life as a detective after her old superhero life. Here is the cast:

-Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones

-Rachel Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker

-Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth

-Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse

-Leah Gibson as Ingrid

– J.R. Ramirez as Oscar

GLOW is returning to Netflix this year for another season.  This show is centered around Ruth Wilder. She is an out-of-work actress living in Los Angeles in the ’80s. Wilder finds an unexpected chance at stardom: joining women’s wrestling, alongside 12 other Hollywood misfits. She joins the world of glitter and spandex. Then viewers are introduced to Sam Sylvia, a washed-up director of “B” movies who tries to lead the group of women to fame.This series has a great cast and a large one too. This cast includes:  

  • Alison Brie as Ruth Wilder
  • Betty Gilbin as Debbie
  • Marc Maron as Sam Sylvia
  • Ellen Wong as Jenny
  • Kate Nash as Rhonda

And many more.

Well, there you have it! These are some shows that will be returning to Netflix in 2018. All of these shows were popular ones that almost everyone enjoyed watching. Which includes students and parents. Most people find Netflix as their main source of shows and movies which makes sense because these shows are some of the best so keep your eyes out on Netflix for all of these amazing shows.
