Every year Stacey Middle School hosts an event known as Multicultural Night. This year though they’ve added a little twist, subcultures. That’s right this year students can sign up to do subcultures such as Harry Potter and Anime.
Multicultural Night is not until March 2nd, but that means there is only about a month for students to finish up their booths. Students love to participate in this fun event, but if a student wants to participate, they better realize that it is a very time-consuming thing that you would probably have to work on for weeks if you want to make sure your booth is perfect.
If you like to sing, dance, or play an instrument then this night is looking just for you because students are allowed to sign up and perform on stage. Even some clubs are performing. For example, I know for a fact that Ukulele Club is going to perform a few songs.
I don’t know about you, but I am super excited to see everyone’s amazing performances and booths, especially the Harry Potter booth.
Here’s a quote from Ashley Wolf, a member of Ukulele Club, “I am excited to be performing this year especially because it is my first year at Stacey so I have never been there, and I just can’t wait.”
There will be another meeting for all Multicultural Night members on Tuesday, Jan. 30th right after school for 15 minutes in Ms. Valverde’s room. Please make sure that at least one representative is there to go over details.
