Students these days have a hard time keeping their grades up. These problems only worsen when students miss school days and opportunities to learn. Typically, absent students have no way of making up these lost days.

However, there are ways to help students get their grades up once again. One of these ways to get help is by attending Saturday Academy. Saturday Academy is there to help students, and any struggling students should really consider attending.

Saturday Academy is also a good way for the school to recover lost funding. Missed days of school cause the school to lose revenue, so by attending, students will help the school as well as themselves.

The activities students will be involved in here include movie script analysis, science dissection with Mrs. Cleckler, gardening with Ms. Thach, music workshop with Woodruff, and study skills time.

So, on November 9, 2017, students can come to Stacey for Saturday Academy. It will last from 9 am- 12:30 pm, and there will be plenty of fun, school-related activities for students to do.

Why, oh why, do you still have dissections? As I explained in last year’s dissection article by Kelsey, dissections are basically surgeries on dead animals for science. This is just cruel.

    • I know! It’s awful. Any of you thinking of signing up for the dissection, just remember you’ll be taking a life, no matter how small it may seem.

(Sorry if that offends anybody, but that’s just how I feel)
