According to Billboard Top 100, this is the hot top ten for this week in May 2017!

Tenth place: “It Aint Me” by Kygo x Selena Gomez. Ok! This song was in 10th place last week as well, so it doesn’t seem like it is moving. We’ll consider this a good thing!

Number nine is “XO Tour Life” by Lil Uzi Vert. Just like “It Ain’t Me,” this song had stayed in the same position as well. Again, a good thing!

In eighth place: “iSpy” by KYLE featuring Lil Yachty. Wow! This week seems like a slow week. Like the two other songs behind it, this song has stayed in the same place that it had been the week before.

Number seven: “Mask Off” by Future. Okay! Now, unlike the other songs behind it, this song had moved from its place last week. However, it had moved down the charts from 5th place and hopefully, it will be able to regain its balance!

Number six is “Something Just Like This” by The Chainsmokers & Coldplay! And now we’re back to a slow week. Like the songs in 8th, 9th, and 10th place, this song seems to be moving as fast as a snail. But it’s not a bad thing. Hardly.

Number five is “Shape Of You” by Ed Sheeran. No! This song moved down in the charts from Last week. It was in 2nd place last week, but it seems that it had moved down. Regain the balance! Regain!

Number four is “Humble.” by Kendrick Lamar. Well, well, well…This song was in 3rd place last week, and it seems that it had gone down one place. Not very bad, but if this song wants to stay in the top ten, then it must regain its balance. Regain!

Number three: “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Featuring Justin Bieber. Apparently, this song reached number one in Russia. Go figure.

In second place, we have “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars. What is this blasphemy? This song was in 1st last week, and it seemed like it had gotten its crown stolen! Who can be responsible for this horrific crime? (This song is doing very well, though. It doesn’t seem like it will be leaving the charts anytime soon.)

Finally, number one is “I’m The One” by DJ Khaled Featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper & Lil Wayne. Oh, look, there’s a new song in 1st place this week. So this was the song that had taken the crown from “That’s What I Like!” NO!!!! Anyways, as stated, this song is a very new one and it is in 1st place! Hopefully, it will stay for a while…

Summary of the Music Week:

So . . . it seems that this week was a very slow one for many of the young, talented artists who wrote all this fabulous music. Some of the songs had changed in position, but most of the songs had stayed where they were. Again, for the thousandth time, that is a good thing. At least the songs aren’t moving down, right! Anyways, that’s what happened this week. Hopefully, next week and the weeks to come will be better for the music industry. Who knows?

Sammi Merino quotes, “This chart this week is a good one, but the song I love isn’t on the charts! Maybe when it comes out I will make it better.”

Deanna Long quotes, “This chart this week was a good one! I love it, but I don’t really listen to music much.”

Celine Thi quotes, “I love it! The number one song is my absolute favorite!”

That’s all for this week on Musical Mondays this week, Cougars! Stay tuned for next week’s edition of Musical Mondays! Come again!
