As the founder and director of this event, Ms. Valverde said, “It’s like my baby. It shows off so many cultures and attributes of those cultures. I created it ten years ago, so it’s my baby.”
Additionally, many traditional musical and dance performances from a variety of cultures filled the evening.
One performance featured Chinese dragon dancers wandering throughout the crowd that filled the school’s multipurpose room. The grand dragon dance enthralled the audience.
Stacey’s PTSA donated $100 worth of five dollar gift cards, and families donated prizes as well that were raffled throughout the evening.
🎆 The Multicultural Night was so much fun! I’m going to attend it again next year. 🎆 🙂
