Athletes around the world have experienced the cooling taste of whatever beverage they choose in the new Hydro Flask. Stacey students have also jumped on the bandwagon. It is common to see these around our campus.
Still, most students do not know the history behind this refreshing technology.
The Hydro Flask was founded in 2009 when they launched the first all-insulated bottle line- up into the market. But that wasn’t all the exciting news. The company hit one million dollars in sales in 2011!
¨We continually strive to bring new, innovative solutions to our customers. From insulated caps to the lightest weight bottles in the insulated category, our dedication to our products and culture remains our number one focus.¨
Six years after hitting the one million dollar sales mark, the company offered over 100 products in four different categories: hydration, coffee, beer, and food.
The Hydro Flask was made Inc 500’s fastest growing list and Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work list 2 years in a row and have received other product and industry awards as well.
In 2015, the company expanded in Europe, with plans to go worldwide by the end of 2016. The Hydro Flask company says quote, ¨Through it all, however, one thing remains clear: we are committed to bringing you unexpected refreshment, wherever your adventures take you. Join us on our mission to save the world from lukewarm.¨
Used in every product, the Hydro Flasks makers you an invention called the TempShield behind the covered material that shapes the Hydro Flask. It is vacuum insulated that guards the temperature of a consumer’s drink.
The TempShield is more than just a shield, it also: Eliminates the need for a heavy bottom cap to seal the flask, absorbs all moisture and gas during the vacuum process, gives the Hydro Flask a slimmer look. This innovative drink also has its own dedicated ovens to ensure stringent control over the entire production process. With all of these perks, ice can stay icy in the Hydro Flask for 24 hours, and hot stays steaming hot for up to six hours. No sweat involved!
No wonder the Hydro Flask is a Stacey student favorite.
