Dear Sam,
My Parents have been arguing and I’m stuck in the middle. What do I do?

Dear Stuck-in-the-Middle,
It can be awkward, and make you feel lonely when parents argue, but it’s a part of any relationship. Whether its two best friends, a couple, a mother and daughter, or father and son. It’s natural. You can help by cooperating with simple tasks, such as doing the dishes or helping make dinner, just something to lighten the situation. The one thing that you don’t want to do is pick sides because then the other might feel disrespected or that you favor one of your parents more that the other. You can try to talk to both of them separately and let them know how it affects you. Hopefully, at least one of them will apologize and help mend the arguing.
From,
Sam
