Many books have been brought to life by talented actors and creative sets. This year, more upcoming movies have excited fans with their trailers and sneak peeks.

One book chosen for the spotlight is The 5th Wave. It is a young adult, science fiction novel by the author Rick Yancey. This book is about five main things, known as waves, that cause pandemonium on earth.

The main character in the book, Cassie Sullivan, will be played by the actress Chloe Grace Moretz. The movie is rated PG-13 and will be released on January 22, 2016.

Fairy Tail Zero a new anime series has also excited its fans. Based on the manga by Hiro Mashima, the series will be a prequel to the popular anime, Fairy Tail. It will be about the founder of the guild, Mavis Vermillion, and her start. The date as to when this will be released is yet to come.  

Another book that will be hitting the screens is The Mortal Instruments series by author Cassandra Clare. A movie for this series came out on August 21, 2013, but will come out as a TV show on January 12, 2016. The main character Clary Fray, will be played by Katherine Mcnamara. She will be accompanied by actor Dominic Sherwood, who will be playing Jace Wayland.

The ending to the Divergent series will be continuing as Allegiant, by Veronica Roth. The movie will be split into two parts and the first part will be released on March 18, 2016. The cast will remain the same. Tris Prior will be played by actress, Shailene Woodley and Tobias Eaton will be played by actor, Theo James. The rating to this movie is yet to be released.

These book to movie adaptations have each fandoms excited for what is in store.
