National Junior Honors Society Christmas Cards Reply

Students participating in NJHS made Christmas cards on Wednesday to send overseas to soldiers. Mrs. Gates, the NJHS instructor, asked for crafting supplies, such as colored paper, glitter, and Christmas stickers.

Thirty-five blank cards were decorated, and several students made more than one card. Festive patterned paper and creative designs brightened the cards. Templates of reindeer, Christmas trees, and ornaments were glued to the gifts, but space inside the cards was left blank for the soldiers to write to their families.

Time spent at NJHS counted for volunteer time. Required NJHS hours will be due on Tuesday, along with any donations of Socks of Love or clothing.
