Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth, has raised the price of the Disney Signature Plus Passport to an astounding $1,049 a year. This pass has no blackout dates, dates you cannot use the pass, 15% off select dining locations, and 20% off select merchandise, souvenirs, etc. and free parking.

Mrs. Valverde created a new dance club this year that gives students at Stacey Middle School a chance to dance. Participants in the dance club have been practicing outside Mrs.Valverde’s classroom since October 5th.
Mrs. Valverde and her ten students are very excited to perform their new piece at Dark Fest. They are currently rehearsing to the song, “Thriller” by Micheal Jackson for their performance.
Seventh grader Rachel Ravsten of the Stacey Dance Club said, “I have a really good dance instructor.” Rachel also says she “loves” the club because she was introduced to a lot of nice people there.
The dance crew begin their practice by stretching first. After that, they review what they had done at the last rehearsal. Once they finish reviewing, Mrs. Valverde then adds new dance moves to the piece. Mrs. Valverde said, “We plan just to have fun and make students lead the club dance. On October 29th, Leadership is hosting Darkfest from 6:15-8:15 p.m. There will be a scary movie, that will petrify your pants off, food, drinks, and possibly a haunted house.
Come and hang out with friends, but keep hands and feet to yourself because this will be an amazing ride to HAPPY, HAPPY FUN TIME. Pajamas, Gucci purses, phones, and cameras are A-okay.
Tickets are $6, but if you have ASB then it will ONLY be $5. Remember to bring your student I.D. when buying a ticket. Once you enter, bring your I.D, ticket, and money for food or the bouncer will not let you in. Hope to see you there!
Each year at Stacey Middle School, the National Junior Honors Society members in eighth grade, who participate and meet the requirements for the club, receive a medallion to remind them of their hard work and dedication to society.
Mrs. Gates, the NJHS instructor, states, “For eighth graders to be eligible for the medallion, they have to be in NJHS for at least two trimesters, and one of those trimesters has to be the third. You can do the first and the third, or the second and the third.” More…
